Tracy Trotter
Owner/ Instructor
Tracy began his career in emergency services in 2003 as a Firefighter/Paramedic and has been dedicated to teaching life-saving skills since 2004 when he taught his first CPR class. He completed the prestigious Paramedic Specialist program at the University of Iowa Carver School of Medicine, which laid the foundation for his extensive experience in the field. Tracy has worked as a Field Training Officer at Mayo Clinic Ambulance and as an instructor in the Paramedic Program at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. His expertise also extends to various fire departments, where he has contributed to the training and development of emergency responders. Additionally, Tracy supervised the Stordal Ski Patrol and mountain rescue in Norway, further expanding his leadership experience in high-pressure environments.
Outside of his professional career, Tracy enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, engaging in activities like fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, snowboarding, and hiking. He is also deeply involved in his community, where he plays music, serves as the president of the Central Oregon Chapter of the Black Sheep Motorcycle Ministry for Christ, and leads the medical team for the South Willamette Valley Honor Flight, helping veterans honor their service. Tracy's passion for both his work and his community makes him a respected figure in the emergency services and outdoor adventure worlds.


Dr Inger Lied MD
Medical Director/ Instructor
Dr. Lied began her career in emergency medicine, becoming an EMT Intermediate in Oregon while studying Pre-medicine at the University of Oregon. Her passion for medicine led her to pursue a graduate degree as a Medical Doctor from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway. After completing her medical education, Dr. Lied returned to Oregon, where she now works as a Primary Care Physician in Sisters, OR.
In addition to her role as a physician, Dr. Lied serves as the Medical Director for Northwest Emergency Medical Training, where she also participates as an instructor, sharing her expertise with others in the field of emergency medical care.
Outside of her medical career, Dr. Lied is an avid musician and plays violin for a local orchestra, combining her love for the arts with her dedication to health and wellness. Her diverse skills and experiences make her a valuable asset both in the medical field and her community.
Eric Hulse
Instructor
Eric Hulse began his career in 1993 as a firefighter in Coos Bay, OR, driven by a passion for serving his community and protecting lives. He earned his Fire Science degree at Southwestern Oregon Community College and advanced his expertise through the Paramedic program at Umpqua Community College. With a career spanning decades, Eric has not only dedicated himself to saving lives on the front lines but also to empowering others by teaching life-saving skills. His unwavering commitment to service and education has made a lasting impact on his community and the next generation of first responders.


Dr Bradley Rethwill, DC
Instructor
Dr. Bradley Rethwill, DC, is a highly experienced chiropractor who served the Eugene, OR, community for 42 years, providing exceptional care and improving countless lives. As a board-eligible Functional Neurologist, Dr. Rethwill has combined his deep expertise in chiropractic care with advanced neurological training to address complex health challenges. Throughout his career, he has been deeply committed to helping people achieve optimal health and wellness, empowering his patients with the knowledge and tools to lead healthier lives. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Rethwill has dedicated himself to training and educating others, inspiring a new generation of caregivers to make a difference and save lives.
Grace Schuhmann
Instructor
Grace was introduced to the medical field in 2018 when she began volunteering at a camp for neurodiverse children. It was during this time that she realized her passion for serving others and decided to pursue a career in the medical field. Her journey led her to the Fire Service in 2020, where she began making a direct impact on her community.
Grace earned her degree in Fire Science from Central Oregon Community College, while also coaching gymnastics in Redmond, OR. Her commitment to furthering her skills and expertise led her to earn her Paramedic Certification through the National Medical Education and Technology Center, based out of Massachusetts.
Outside of work, Grace is an avid enthusiast of CrossFit, hiking, camping, snowboarding, and enjoys spending quality time with her dog. Her dedication to both her professional growth and personal well-being makes her a well-rounded and passionate member of her community.
